Eagles lands NEC loan deal

NEC Nijmegen have agreed a deal to loan Chris Eagles from Manchester United.
The 20-year-old has been shipped out of Old Trafford once more by Sir Alex
Ferguson to boost his first-team experience.
Eagles spent spells on loan in The Championship at Sheffield Wednesday and
Watford last season, but has now headed to Holland.
In joining NEC, the midfielder follows the path walked by fellow United
youngster David Jones, who spent the second half of last term with the
Eredivisie side.
NEC will keep Eagles on loan until January 1 initially after the player
impressed in a recent training exercise.
However, if Eagles continue to shine, then he is likely to stay with NEC
until the end of the season.
