Parma have announced the imminent arrival of
Manchester United starlet Giuseppe Rossi on loan.
“We were very interested in Nicola Ventola, but the transfer market
is tough at the moment, so our director of sport Zamagna made
a lightning trip to Manchester where we took back Rossi on loan,”
revealed lawyer Giuseppe Cappelli.
Cappelli在官網說：「我們對 Ventola非常有興趣，不過轉會市場此刻很難搞，
所以我們的體育總監 Zamagna光速前往曼徹斯特，我們要租借 Rossi。」
“If everything goes well, then he should be in Parma on Thursday
and the transfer will come through in time for him to play against
Torino this weekend.”
「如果一切順利，那他週四就會在 Parma，轉會將即時完成，
他就能在週末上場對陣 Torino。」
It is a return to the Stadio Tardini for the 20-year-old Italian-American,
as Rossi grew up in the Parma youth system.
這對 Rossi來說是場回歸，他在 Parma青訓系統長大的。
He left for England in 2004 during the Gialloblu's financial crisis
and made his debut for Manchester United on November 10, 2004
against Crystal Palace.

He has since gone on to play for Newcastle United for a total
of one goal in 16 Premiership appearances.

Rossi finally came to Italian attention in August when he made
his international debut for Pierluigi Casiraghi's Under-21 side
and now has give caps to his name.

This is an important reinforcement for the Tardini outfit,
which is up for sale after the bankruptcy of majority shareholders Parmalat.
Today Swiss-Italian businessman Gaetano Valenza confirmed that
he was very interested in buying up the side.

Giuseppe Rossi is to join Parma on loan for the rest of the season as
he looks to gain first-team experience.
The 19-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Newcastle,
but he started only three league games at St James' Park.
Reds boss Sir Alex Ferguson had intimated that he would be keeping the
promising Italy Under-21 international at Old Trafford to aid United's
bid for trophies on three fronts.
But Rossi will now head back to the club that United signed him from in
the summer of 2004.
Having added Henrik Larsson to the main pack of strikers at Old Trafford -
including Louis Saha, Wayne Rooney and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - United this
week tied up a new deal for Chinese international Dong Fangzhuo, who now
has a work permit.
With Alan Smith working on boosting his fitness, Sir Alex could have six
strikers at his disposal. So Rossi's move to Serie A should afford him
the first-team opportunities he needs to progress his career.

曼聯俱樂部官方網站證實意大利小將羅西將在下半個賽季租借至帕爾馬。
19歲的羅西上賽季是曼聯預備隊的最佳射手，在英超露面機會不多但也表現不錯，
本賽季初被弗格森提拔至一隊。爵爺原計劃讓他成為魯尼薩哈的替補，但賽季開始前羅
西向主帥表示希望能踢更多比賽，俱樂部隨即將他租借至紐卡斯爾，想趁著歐文受傷、
希勒退役讓羅西在聖詹姆斯公園球場加速成長，但喜鵲糟糕的戰績讓羅德爾不敢輕易使
用羅西，前半個賽季只得到3次聯賽首發機會。租借到期後羅西回到老特拉福德。
不久前弗格森在談到羅西和董方卓兩名年輕小將前途時還說，會在老特拉福德栽培
意大利小將，曼聯現在有機會重溫三冠王奇跡，每一個隊員都有自己的作用。2004年夏
天曼聯從帕爾馬青年隊簽下羅西，2年半以後羅西又回到帕爾馬，據悉租借期限依然是
半個賽季。
