Sunderland sign Simpson on loan

Sunderland have signed Manchester United right-back Danny Simpson on loan
until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old was on loan at United's feeder club Royal Antwerp last
season and is the fifth player to arrive at Sunderland in January.
He is a product of the United youth academy and links up with fellow Red
Devils defender Jonny Evans.
Simpson goes straight into the Black Cats squad for Tuesday's match against
Crystal Palace at the Stadium of Light.
