"We are extremely sad and disappointed to hear that we are not welcomed,"
Gill's letter was quoted as saying in the New Straits Times on Thursday.

"對於我們不被歡迎到馬來西亞踢友誼賽，俱樂部感到非常的難過與失望"

"Malaysia is our second home. We played there in 1995, 1999 and 2001 - more
than anywhere else in Asia.

"馬來西亞是我們的第二個家，我們曾經在1995, 1999和2001在這裡進行熱身賽，比任何
一個亞洲國家多。"

"We are proud to come and celebrate (Malaysia's) 50 years of independence and
it's a once in a life-time celebration. We were very much looking forward to
celebrating with our fans (in Malaysia)."

"我們感到非常榮幸，能參與馬來西亞獨立50週年，這是一生中難得參加的慶典。我們極度
渴望能和馬來西亞曼聯球迷一起慶祝!!!"
