德比郡升超功臣乃曼聯人 瓊斯渴望回老特拉福德

剛剛在英冠升級附加賽上幫助球隊以1比0擊敗西布羅姆維奇，從而重新返回英超之
後，老牌勁旅德比郡隊的中場核心大衛-瓊斯在歡慶勝利的同時表示，他渴望重新得到曼
聯主帥弗格森的青睞。
這位前曼聯隊的中場小將剛剛收到了許多曼聯前隊友的祝賀短信，其中就包括吉格
斯、理查德森以及埃弗拉。他甚至半開玩笑地表示，沒有收到弗爵爺的短信，他感到很
失望，他不希望在離開曼聯僅僅一年後就被弗格森遺忘。
他在接受《鏡報》採訪時表示：「我已經受到了很多曼聯隊友的祝賀短信，我很感
動，非常感謝他們，不過我還在等弗格森教練的短信。」
瓊斯今年22歲，是曼聯青訓系統一手培養起來的球員，但一直打不上一隊比賽，處
在預備隊和一線隊之間的游離狀態。瓊斯只代表曼聯參加過聯賽杯的比賽。在曼聯，卡
裡克佔據著中場主力，還有弗萊徹等人排位在他之前。不得已，他只有在今年1月，以
100萬英鎊的價格轉會德比郡隊。
不過，對於培養自己九年之久的曼聯隊，對於老帥弗格森，瓊斯還是充滿了感激之
情：「在曼聯，我學會了如何在巨大的壓力下打好重要的比賽，這也是我能夠重返英超
的重要原因。曼聯是一支偉大的球隊，弗格森是偉大的教練，我一直希望重新回到老特
拉福德。」

Derby's David Jones has joked he's still waiting for his good-luck text from
Sir Alex Ferguson ahead of today's play-off final. The former Manchester
United midfielder says he's had one from Kieran Richardson and his other pals
at Old Trafford and hopes Fergie hasn't forgotten him after just one season.
He said: "I've had a few good-luck texts from the lads I know at United and
some of the staff, although I'm waiting for Sir Alex's!"
Jones, 22, who joined Derby for ￡1million last summer, is grateful for the
coaching he received during his nine years at United.
"The education at United is all about making you able to perform on the big
stage," he said. "I came here hoping I could make it straight back to the
Premiership. Now we've just got to finish it off."
