足總杯決戰僅剩3天多時間，兩位主角曼聯和阿森納卻不斷傳出損兵折將的消息。繼
阿森納官方網站證實亨利無緣足總杯決戰、雷耶斯因傷出戰成疑的時候，弗格森也高興不
起來，因為兩名防線鐵閘也可能錯失這場關係兩隊賽季榮辱的生死戰。一個盾破，一個矛
折，比賽還未開始，已經吸引了無數關注。
三周前，後衛海因策在曼聯與紐卡斯爾的聯賽中受傷倒地，當時阿根廷人痛苦的叫聲

「如果屆時兩個人都不能上場，曼聯的防線將面臨嚴峻的考驗，尤其是海因策，加盟
曼聯後他的表現非常出色。足總杯決賽應該是屬於他的舞台，但是，在我看來，他可能要
錯過這個機會了。」
希爾維斯特將代替阿根廷人的位置，費迪南德和布朗搭檔中衛，加裡的弟弟菲爾-內

Double injury blow for Reds

MANCHESTER United have suffered a double defensive injury blow ahead of
Saturday's FA Cup final.
Gabriel Heinze is almost certain to miss out after failing to recover
from his ankle ligament injury, while Sir Alex Ferguson also revealed
Gary Neville is a major doubt with a groin strain.
The loss of Heinze is a major blow, even if it had been anticipated by
the United boss as soon as the forceful Argentinian full-back picked up
the injury against Newcastle three weeks ago.
The likely absence of Neville robs the Red Devils defence of some
valuable experience, although it could be good news for the England
international's brother Phil who could step into the right-back role.
"Gaby doesn't want to be ruled out at the moment but I do not see him
playing," said Ferguson.
"Gary is a concern because he is not training. We have got medical
people working on him and we will give him every chance but it is
not looking good.
"It is very disappointing because they are both experienced players.
I particularly feel for Gaby.
"He has been fantastic for us this season, he's a real winner and he
deserves to play but I do feel it's beyond him."
Heinze's absence is likely to see France international Mikael Silvestre
start at left-back, with Wes Brown partnering Rio Ferdinand in the heart
of United's defence as they look to win the trophy for a record 12th time
and inflict their fourth defeat of the season on Arsene Wenger's men.
