Gary Neville and Rafael da Silva have been passed fit for United, while Wayne
Rooney and Michael Carrick should recover from knocks in time to play.
Paul Scholes, Park Ji-sung and Carlos Tevez are among those likely to start.
Everton manager David Moyes must decide whether to risk striker Louis Saha,
who has had a stomach virus.
On-loan striker Jo is cup-tied but Joseph Yobo and James Vaughan have
recovered from injuries and are included in Moyes' squad.

BIG-MATCH FACTS
- Everton and Manchester United will run out at Wembley 14 years after Paul
Rideout scored the only goal to land Everton their fifth FA Cup. Only on
this occasion it will be to qualify for the end of season showpiece in the
11th semi-final to be staged at the home of English football.
- Everton have the formidable task of putting paid to Manchester United's
quintuple dreams, and knocking out the most successful club in FA Cup
history.
- Between them these clubs have won the cup 16 times; United on a record 11
occasions.
- Everton are making their first visit to the new Wembley; Manchester United
were there on 1 March, beating Tottenham in the Carling Cup final in a
penalty shoot-out, after a goalless 120 minutes.
- In each of the last four seasons, the team halting Middlesbrough's run in
the competition has gone on to reach, and then lose in the final. Everton
knocked out the Teessiders in the quarter-finals.
- This is Manchester United's 405th match in FA Cup history and Everton's
394th; United have won 219 and Everton 212.
The League ladder
- Manchester United have 19 more points than sixth placed Everton.
Current form
- Undefeated in four; won three and drawn one in all competitions since
back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.
- Lost their last visit to London, when beaten 2-0 by Fulham at Craven Cottage
on 21 March.
Recent FA Cup performance
- Competing in a record-equalling 26th semi-final (as are Arsenal), and
aiming to reach the final for the fourth time in six years, and a record
19th time overall.
- Drawn to play at home only once in this cup run (to Tottenham), eliminating
two Premier League clubs (Spurs and Fulham) and two Championship sides
(Southampton and Derby).
- Scored four goals in each of the last two ties; 1-4 against Derby at Pride
Park in the fifth round, and 0-4 over Fulham at Craven Cottage in the
quarter-final.
- Their aggregate score so far is 13-2, and their leading scorers are Darren
Gibson, Nani, Carlos Tevez and Danny Welbeck with two each.
The Manager
- United have won the cup a record five times under Sir Alex Ferguson, who has
led out the side for the final on eight occasions.
FA Cup fact
- Been paired with Premier League opposition in 14 of their last 16 rounds.
HEAD to HEAD
All competitions
- Manchester United are unbeaten in eight matches against Everton, winning
six and drawing two since the Toffees prevailed 1-0 at Goodison on 20 April
2005, with a Duncan Ferguson goal.
- The clubs have not clashed outside the Premier League in nine meetings since
being drawing against each other in the FA Cup in 2005.
FA Cup
- These clubs stand all square at five wins a piece from their 10 previous
meetings, which have all been determined at the first time of asking. United
won the most recent; a fifth round tie at Goodison on 19 February 2005, when
Quinton Fortune and Cristiano Ronaldo scored without reply.
- Prior to that it was Paul Rideout's memorable winner for the Merseysiders
in the 1995 Wembley final.
M.E.N Prediction: United 1-0 Everton
- if United's defence can begin to find its form again the Reds should go
through
Key opponent:
Tim Cahill - always a threat from set pieces
Lawro's predictions United 1-0 Everton
Everton are always difficult to beat but I wonder if this fixture has maybe
come a month too late for them as Manchester United look to have rediscovered
some form after a minor blip.
The reuniting of Ferdinand and Vidic at the back galvanised United against
Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday and with Jo cup-tied for Everton
they will be lacking the kind of firepower that could test these two.
