Rossi Hails Unforgettable Tribute To Best

Giuseppe Rossi says he felt privileged to be a part of
the special tribute to George Best before United's 3-1 Carling Cup win
over West Brom.
The 18-year-old lined up alongside his United team-mates,
former players and club dignitaries to celebrate the life of
one of the greatest players to grace the game.
"It was very emotional before the match and I felt very privileged
to be on the pitch," he told MUTV.
"It was a really nice tribute and it's something that I'll never forget."
A first half penalty conversion form Cristiano Ronaldo was followed by
strikes from Louis Saha and John O'Shea as United booked their place
in the last eight of the competition.
Rossi, who impressed throughout, came close to getting his name-sheet
on the scoresheet when he struck a post just before half-time.
"I hope they'll move the goal a little more to the left so I can score
next time!" he joked. "It was a great victory especially on a night
like this. We worked hard and I think we deserved it to go through.
"We're very pleased to be in the quarter-finals and we hope we can go on
and win it now."
