Solid as a rock once more. Even managed a sliding tackle
to rob Anelka

John O'Shea - 7
The Irishman endured a few nervy moments but his pass to
release Giggs for the goal was inspired

Nemanja Vidic - 8
Apart from one minor error, a perfect performance. No-one
will talk about Torres being his nemesis anymore

Patrice Evra - 7
Better than last week and needed to be. Not much chance to
attack but defensively sound

Rio Ferdinand - 8
Even on one leg Sir Alex Ferguson kept the faith. Outstanding
effort as Chelsea piled forward

Park Ji-Sung - 9
Tireless performer who makes up in industry what he lacks in
creativity and a goal to boot

Ryan Giggs - 8
Evergreen winger keeps coming up with moments of genius. With
the pressure at its greatest, he found Hernandez

Nani - 8
Grew into the game after a slow start and by the time he was replaced
had Chelsea tied in knots

Michael Carrick - 8
Has sparked a difficult season into life with excellent
displays to seal a semi-final spot

Javier Hernandez - 8
If there was a bargain of the season prize, he would get
it. His 18th goal of the season sent Old Trafford into ecstasy

Wayne Rooney - 8
Back to his best. Behind many of United best attacking moments
and still found time to defend. Audacious attempt to score from inside his
own half at the end
