Defensive duo travel to Milan

Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic have both been included in United's
travelling party to Milan ahead of the Reds' Champions League semi-final
second leg clash on Wednesday evening.

The defensive pair have been sorely missed of late, but look set to make
their comeback against the Rossoneri at the San Siro.

A groin injury forced Ferdinand out of United's game with Middlesbrough
ten days ago, while Vidic has been unavailable for nearly a month after
fracturing his collarbone during a heavy fall in the 4-1 win over Blackburn
at the end of March.

Fellow defender and Reds' skipper Gary Neville is still out with an ankle
injury and has remained in Manchester to work on his fitness.

Louis Saha is also in the squad which flew out to Italy on Tuesday morning.
The United striker has been struggling to shake off a hamstring strain, but
is deemed fit enough to travel and may be handed a place on the bench.

Defenders: Wes Brown, Rio Ferdinand, Gabriel Heinze, John O’Shea,
           Nemanja Vidic

             Darren Fletcher, Ryan Giggs, Kieran Richardson,
             Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes

Strikers: Wayne Rooney, Louis Saha, Alan Smith, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
