Rangers manager Paul Le Guen fears Lee Martin will miss next week's Uefa
Cup trip to Livorno with a knee injury.
The 19-year-old, who is on loan at Ibrox from Manchester United, has returned
to Old Trafford to have the problem assessed.
Le Guen told Rangers World: "He has been troubled by this for three weeks
after taking a knock on his knee and I am little bit worried by this.
"Our doctor will work in conjunction with Manchester United."
Rangers are already without injured wide players Chris Burke and Libor Sionko
for the Uefa Cup group stage opener in Italy on 19 October.
"Lee Martin has a problem with his knee, which is a bit worrying and it
leaves us short of wingers," Le Guen told Rangers World.
"It is bad luck, but we must keep our head up and keep working."

Darron Gibson finally made his Royal Antwerp debut on Saturday in a 0-0
draw with KVK Kortrijk.
The Derry-born midfielder is the last of four United loanees to feature for
the Belgians, having been dogged by a knee injury in recent weeks.
After building up his fitness in recent weeks at Carrington, Gibson made his
first appearance as a second-half substitute for fellow Red Fraizer Campbell.
Danny Simpson also completed 90 minutes for the Belgians, while Jonny Evans
was away on international duty with Northern Ireland.
The result keeps Antwerp second, seven points behind runaway leaders FCV
Dender.
No other United players were in action for their loan clubs over the

據傳Barnsley想趕在下週末和Sheffield Wednesday的德比戰前就簽下Shawcross

Barnsley are reportedly close to signing Manchester United teenager Ryan
Shawcross on loan.
The Championship club are understood to be in talks with United with
regards to making a loan signing before this weekend's derby with Sheffield
Wednesday.
Reports suggest that Shawcross is the player that Tykes boss Andy Ritchie
is hoping to bring to Oakwell.
Shawcross turned 19 earlier this month and has played for The Red Devils'
reserves, but is yet to break into the first-team setup.
If he does complete a move to Barnsley, it will continue United boss Sir
Alex Ferguson's policy of loaning out his young prospects, with the likes
of Jonny Evans, Giuseppe Rossi, Lee Martin and Chris Eagles currently away
from Old Trafford.
