Quinny Begins His Comeback
Quinton Fortune has been named in the Reserves side to face Wolves
at Ewen Fields on Thursday night.
The South African utility man will make his first appearance of the season
as Rene Meulensteen's side aim to stretch their lead at the top of the FAPRL
to an imposing seven points.
Fortune has missed the entire campaign to date due to a knee injury. He is
joined in the starting line-up by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who continues his
own mission to recover match fitness.
The Norwegian partners Giuseppe Rossi upfront, while Fortune is joined by
Markus Neumayr, Ritchie Jones and Darron Gibson in a strong midfield quartet.
Luke Steele continues in goal, with Phil Marsh, Phil Bardsley, Mark Howard
and Gerard Pique in defence.
The young quintet of Kieran Lee, Ron-Robert Zieler, Kyle Moran, Danny Rose
and David Gray make up the substitutes bench.
United:
Steele, Marsh, Bardsley, M Howard, Pique, R Jones, Neumayr, Gibson,
