CoMS would have put them right about the club motto, but we like it anyway ...

Gordon Smart writes: Ricky Hatton has been showing off the tattoo that
illustrates the devotion he has for his beloved Manchester City. The Manc
boxer has been showing off the club motto — Pride In Battle — which he has
had inked across his back.
The thing is, the words normally appear in Latin. But Ricky is no fool and
quickly realised that Superbia In Proelia is a whole four letters longer than
the English translation.
That would have meant four more painful punctures for The Hitman, who will
take on Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas on May 2. There is no way I’m going to
blame him for deciding on the translation. Getting a tattoo isn’t a tickling
match.
