曼聯不會為了奪得Wayne Rooney而將球隊的首席射手Ruud van Nistelrooy出售！
曼聯強烈譴責關於皇馬看到Ruud在歐錦賽中的表現後對其虎視眈眈的傳聞報導。
西班牙傳媒的不實報導一再激怒Sir Alex Ferguson。今年年初就曾有消息指稱Old Traffo
rd將再次進行和David Beckham一樣的轉會交易，然而曼聯的主帥強調他會堅決的留住自己
的愛將。
「Ruud哪裡都不去。他絕對是非賣品，而且他本身也已經清楚的表明自己想要繼續留下的
意願，」Ferguson說道。
自從傳聞開始後Van Nistelrooy就立刻澄清這些流言，同時也與球隊再度續約四年。
在歐錦賽開打後他也曾在荷蘭隊的發佈會上說：「我不知道這些故事是從哪裡傳出來的，
也不知道我必須說明多少次，總之我想說的就只有那一句：我不會離開曼徹斯特聯隊。」
同時，曼聯在爭奪Rooney大戰中取得先機，因為這名受傷的英格蘭小將相信將不會接受艾
弗頓開出的新約。
上週末有報導指稱Rooney曾向他的友人表示他希望加盟曼聯多過投向暴發戶切爾西的懷抱
。然而，如果Ferguson想要得到這名如日中天的球員的話就必須準備一項球員加一筆可觀現
金的配套以擊敗多金的切爾西，贏得艾弗頓的滿意。

United have slammed weekend speculation that Real Madrid are renewing their eff
orts to sign the big Dutchman after seeing his performances in Euro 2004.
The Spaniards angered Sir Alex Ferguson earlier this year when reports claimed
they were ready to make a David Beckham-like swoop on Old Trafford, with the Un
ited boss stressing his determination to hang on to his prize asset.
"Ruud is going nowhere. He is not for sale and he has made it clear that he doe
s not want to leave Old Trafford," said Ferguson.
Since the speculation began van Nistelrooy has publicly pledged his intention o
f staying with United and signed a four-year contract extension in January.
As the European Championships began he again underlined his allegiance at a Hol
land press-conference, saying: "I don't know where these stories come from and
how many times I have to say it, but I have no intention of leaving Manchester
United."
Meanwhile, United are closely monitoring the Rooney situation at Goodison Park
where the injured England striker is expected to turn down an improved deal to
stay at the club.
Weekend reports claim Rooney has told friends he would prefer a move to Manches
ter rather than a switch to Stamford Bridge but Ferguson may have to prepare an
attractive player-plus-cash package to satisfy Everton and keep Chelsea at bay
