Pierre signed with the Marlins on Saturday, Craig Mish of Sirius XM Radio
reports.

Recommendation:
Pierre thrived when injuries granted him regular playing time with the
Phillies last season, getting on base at a .351 clip while stealing 37 bags
in 44 attempts. Pierre could be a candidate at the top of the order for a
Marlins lineup that suddenly looks much less imposing following the team's
blockbuster trade with the Blue Jays earlier this week.
