1. 實屬顯然：A 與 B 交集非空，稱至少有一點 c 落在 A∩B. 這個點 c 就可拿來連
A 與 B.
2. 命 S 為上述之集合，隱函數定理將幫助我們得知 S 會是路徑連通。
3. 畫圖，關鍵在 x 軸 (y=0) 與 y 軸 (x=0) 必落在 S 中。
