下列的例子較為單純: f_n(x) ＝ x, g_n(x) ＝ 1/n. 兩者之定義域為 |R.
易知 f_n (x) → f(x):＝ x uniformly on |R,
g_n (x) → g(x):＝ 0 uniformly on |R,
(f_n g_n)(x) → 0 "NOT" uniformly on |R.
但有一缺點:要是題目限定 Domain 不可以是 |R, 那麼我們就得找其他的例子：
