Define f(x,y) = sin (y^2 / x) * (x^2+y^2)^(1/2) if x=/=0 = 0 if x=0 a. Show that the function is contiuous at the point (0,0) and has directional derivatives in every direction at (0,0) b. Show that there is no plane that is tangent to the graph of f at the point (0,0,f(0,0)) -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.114.66.129
Mathmatics:sin (y^2 / x) * (x^2+y^2)^(1/2) →0 as (x,y)→(0,0) 06/15 10:05
Mathmatics:可以用極座標轉換來看出上面的極限值. 所以連續 06/15 10:05
Mathmatics:其它的就只是計算了,自已複習一下方向導數和切平面吧 06/15 10:07
