請問上面這個習題的意思是？

constant absolute value 不就可視為常數嗎，

怎麼又without reducing to a constant

推 doom8199    :題目是指若 f(x,y) = u(x,y) + i*v(x,y) is analytic
→ doom8199    :則 √(u^2 + v^2)  必然不會是常數值
→ doom8199    :會是常數值的情況只有當  f(x,y) = const. 才成立
→ doom8199    :那你就用反證法，假設  u^2 + v^2 = const.
→ doom8199    :然後套用 Cauchy–Riemann equations 設法產生矛盾
