If you are Mark Cuban, what do you do?
Your basketball team has made it to the conference finals for only the second
time in franchise history. You own one of the top half-dozen players in the
NBA. You have three others who are in the top 40. The rest of your roster is
iffy at best, a complete mess at worst.
你的球隊打到了西區冠軍賽(僅僅是隊史上的第二次)

So what do you do now?
We are like to know your thoughts, knowing full well that asking people who
know the ins and outs of the salary cap about roster moves is dicey enough.
But asking fans who would like to get Jermaine O'Neal for Avery Johnson and
a public-address announcer to be named later to offer serious suggestions to
Cuban is downright dangerous.

about what the Mavericks need and how to get it.

There are a few rules. First, remember that the Mavericks have only one draft
pick the last one in the first round (29th overall). So don't plan on scooping
up LeBron James in the draft.

Second, trades are difficult to consummate. The Mavericks have three players,

Steve Nash, Raef LaFrentz, Tariq Abdul-Wahad and Avery Johnson all are between

between $3 million and $4 million.

Everybody else is in the million-and-less range.
