The Mavericks today exercised their option to keep their second-round
selection (No. 58) in the 2003 NBA draft instead of sending it to the
Miami Heat to complete a previous transaction.

小牛隊今天使用了他們的選擇權，也就是不將 2003 NBA 選秀會第二輪的選秀順
位(No. 58)交給邁阿密熱火隊以完成原先的交易。

The Mavericks owe a second-round selection to Miami from the Aug. 23,
2001, trade that brought Tim Hardaway to Dallas. By keeping this year's
selection, Dallas relinquishes their second-round pick in next year's
draft to the Heat.

小牛隊自從2001年 8月23日開始就欠邁阿密熱火隊一個第二輪的選秀權，那次的
交易把 Tim Hardaway (37歲的老將，現在在溜馬隊當後衛)帶到了達拉斯。為了
保留今年的選秀權，達拉斯小牛隊將會在來年的選秀會交出他們的第二輪選秀權
給熱火隊。
