DALLAS -- Rick Carlisle had seen enough of Monta Ellis lighting it up, so the
coach put the Mavs' best defender on the Golden State guard.

Never mind that Marion is a small forward.

Carlisle made a similar switch late in the last home game, but Andre Miller
kept on knocking down every shot he attempted. Miller finished with 52 points
in Portland's OT win, nine of which came with Marion defending him down the
stretch.

After the game, Marion said he got the stopper assignment too late. Miller
was in too sweet of a groove by the final minute of the fourth quarter.

Ellis has a pretty good rhythm going, racking up 27 points in 27 minutes. But
he missed a jumper the first possession wiht Marion defending him and got
called for a charge a couple of trips late.

達拉斯 - 小牛教練 Rick Carlisle 已經看夠了 Monta Ellis 的秀，所以
決定把小牛隊陣中最會防守的人來防守勇士隊的後衛。

我們先不要管 Marion 是打小前鋒的位置。

還記得上一次對陣拓荒者時遇到很相似的問題，讓 Andre Miller 砍進52分，
雖然最後換上Marion防守，到由於Miller已經殺紅了眼，任誰都檔不住，
Marion也在最後關鍵被Miller打進九分。

那一場比賽賽後，Marion表示自己收到這項防守Miller任務太晚了。

今天Ellis一樣也不例外，比賽開始27分鐘便砍進27分。所幸最後悲劇沒再
發生，Carlisle讓Marion這一次去防守Ellis的時間即時。Marion防守他的
第一球Ellis就已出手沒進失敗，在接下來的比賽也連續吃了Marion的虧。
