http://tinyurl.com/ybmv26g The NBA is a lifestyle as much as it is a sports league. The hip-hop generation has made its impact on the league, and vice versa. And the clothing NBA players wear has changed accordingly. OK, it's changed for some of them. Steve Nash still looks like he rolled out of bed, saw whatever was on the floor and put it on, one of our select fashion critics suggested. But fashion is a key component of life for many in the league. They want to present a slick look. Clean and lean. Nowhere is the lifestyle of the NBA on display more than during All-Star Weekend, which is an endless run of A-list parties that encourage celebrities from sports and the entertainment biz to primp and style. Or is it pimp and rile? At past All-Star Weekends, it's been both as hundreds of thousands of fans collide with people who really are somebody, all in the name of a good time. So here's a look at some of the best-dressed NBA All-Stars, and a few of the red-carpet busts, too. Our celebrity fashionistas are Dallas Mavericks Erick Dampier and Shawn Marion, both of whom put a high priority on being sartorially up-to-date, and former Maverick Jerry Stackhouse, who never gets caught looking anything but chic. On LeBron James: "He's the face of the NBA, so everybody expects him to dress well," Dampier says. "Everybody's got their own style. Some guys like suits. Some guys like jeans and sports coats. It's the All-Star Game, and you never know what you're going to see – everything from loud colors to Jheri curls. LeBron looks good in just about anything." "LeBron dresses very nice," Marion says. "He's always going to look sharp. Obviously, he can afford to." On Dwyane Wade: Dwyane Wade during last year's NBA All-Star Weekend "He's very fashionable," Marion says. "He's up-to-date. He's going to stick with the times. He definitely has a distinct look. I like the way he looks. There's nothing wrong with the bow tie. I've seen a few people do that. Actually, I have one in my closet. I haven't worn it yet, but I'm going to try it. Why not?" On Deron Williams: "It looks a little Euro to me, a little Euro," Stackhouse says. "The pants are a little bit tight around the legs. But not bad. He's a Dallas guy, a Texas guy. They do everything big in Texas." On Kobe Bryant: "No, that ain't it," Stackhouse says. "I think he probably didn't feel like getting dressed. He normally does a lot better job than that. He's one of the better ones in the league. Sometimes, he can go off on a tangent." On Dirk Nowitzki: "He's not a dresser, obviously," Dampier says. "It's not what he does. He tries to dress every now and then, but he's more of a T-shirt-and-jeans guy. "Or just sweats. It all depends on what he feels like wearing. But it's the All-Star Weekend, a lot of people are going to be in town, so expect to see him in a couple suits." "Dirk's a master of the collared shirt," Stackhouse says. "He does a good job with the collared shirt. I've seen him improve. And I've seen him put on a suit and do it justice. He's definitely grown from since I was here at the first. But I think a tall guy in a nice, long-sleeved shirt looks good, and he does a good job with that." On Chris Bosh: "He's definitely not as flashy," Marion says. "Fashion basically depends on how bold you are and what you feel like you can be comfortable wearing. Chris is just very conservative. He keeps it simple." On Steve Nash: "Over the years, he's definitely stepped his game up," Marion says. "Most improved by far, definitely. He puts some suits on now and then. He's got some strut going. It depends on what he wants to do and how he wants to do it. Fashion is your own sense of style. Everybody has their own sense. I like to be different. I'm going to stand out." Marion Dampier Stackhouse評論 當今NBA球員的穿著 網址內有圖 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 220.136.191.224
