Kidd delivers win for Dallas

DALLAS -- The Mavs were confident that it wouldn't take too long for their
new-look lineup to work. Their reasoning: Jason Kidd would make it happen.
Kidd came through in a 107-97 win over the Suns, which made the Mavs 1-1
since their blockbuster deal with the Washington Wizards.
This might have been the 10-time All-Star's best game of the season. He
finished with 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting, 10 assists, a career-high seven
steals and seven rebounds.
The Suns made a big run when Kidd was resting early in the fourth quarter.
But Phoenix's momentum stopped as soon as he got off the bench.
