小牛在一月的16戰9敗促使了小牛-巫師的七人交易

        for
Wizards       Butler + Haywood + Stevenson

"We were struggling here for a month, so we are excited now to have some
 new guys," Mavs forward Dirk Nowitzki said.

Dirk說：這個月我們打很爛，所以說對於這個交易我們頗為興奮

"It's not going to be an easy ride, but we are looking forward to coming
 together quick and hopefully finish the season strong."

我們期待我們可以快速融合，而且把這球季打好



Caron Butler(入選2次明星賽)是這次交易的主菜

本季16.9分6.7板，而1.7抄截也能補強最近8場比賽失112.4分的小牛防守

明天將與香妹(Shawn Marion)一起防守雷帝Kevin Durant這名火熱的得分手


雷帝近25場有25+的演出，僅次於Allen Iverson在01-02的連27場

他29.7的平均得分聯盟排名第二


雷霆最近的六連勝是從04年超音速時期以來最長的一波連勝

不過小牛對雷霆最近19場17勝2負

雷帝在12/16對小牛僅得12分（4.18）

而1/15對小牛拿了30分，不過這兩場都是小牛獲勝


交易中獲得的Haywood協助小牛強化中鋒的深度

而雷霆的中鋒位置是他們較弱的部份

 All-Star break," Durant said.

雷帝說：最重要的是我們在明星賽期間好好休息，而且準備好面對比賽

"We need to enjoy the break but come back with that mind set ready to fight
 through these last 30 games."
