1.當小牛正位在西南組龍頭的位置時，馬刺也開始追趕了上來。 這是兩隊本季
  第3次交手，馬刺在家磨刀霍霍準備好好招待這支西區客場最多勝的球隊。

  小牛季初站穩西南組第1的位置，但是馬刺開季僅有9勝9敗， 接著打出12勝3
  敗的佳績才把雙方的差距追到只差2.0場。而過去兩次交手，T.Parker都因傷
  的關係並沒有上場。

  11月12號(台灣時間)，馬刺在沒有Tony Parker和Tim Duncan的情況下，靠著
  Richard Jefferson的29分以83:92在主場擊敗小牛。 一個禮拜之後在達拉斯
  ，Dirk41分並抓下12籃板的精湛演出，率領小牛在延長賽以94:99勝出。



  Marion說：我們必須守住Tony、Manu和Duncan。他們是支好球隊， 而且他們
  最近打的比開季還要好。

 "We've got to go out there and do what we do and contain him (Parker
  ) and contain Tim (Duncan) and Ginobili," 

 "They've got a good team and they've been playing a lot better than 
  they started."


  這是Tony Parker自從去年季後賽的交手後，第1次碰到小牛， 去年和小牛的
  季後賽交手，他平均28.6分和6.8助攻。

 "They're built a little different. Some of the pieces are 
  interchangeable though. Keith Bogans is like Bruce Bowen with a 
  better offensive game. You got Richard Jefferson, who's more 
  athletic than Michael Finley at this point in his career. They just
  got more offensive weapons. So they still got the same defensive 
  fire, but they definitely want to be a high-scoring team."

2.小牛將會擔心如何守住Duncan， 特別是如果蛋皮還是不能在這場比賽中上場
  的話。卡帥還沒確定如果蛋皮沒打，將要指派誰來對付Duncan。


  要怎麼對付Duncan，卡帥說： 我們在比賽的計畫很大一部分是要在攻守轉換
  、pick-and-roll等等情況去減慢他的速度。我們整個球隊將會也必須做的很
  好。除此之外，他在禁區的破壞力也是非常強大的。

 "A big part of our game plan is trying to slow him down in 
  transition and pick-and-rolls and so forth,"

 "Our whole team is going to have to do a good job. Otherwise he's 
  great at getting into the paint, finishing and causing havoc."



3.這是小牛過去6場比賽裡的第5場客場比賽，目前客場戰績12勝6敗。小牛剛結
  束一趟4場比賽的客場之旅，回到主場後再以98:93擊敗活塞。

  JET從板凳貢獻26分，而Dirk有22分、12籃板的表現。


  Dirk說：我們贏的很難看，感覺我們還陶醉在西岸，我們沒有任何能量。 但
  是JET在整場比賽扛起我們的進攻重任，他持續地把球投進籃框。

 "It was ugly," 

 "It looked like we had a little West Coast hangover. We didn't have 
  any energy. But (Terry) carried us offensively all game long. He 
  kept making shots."



4.JET說：和馬刺打球就像是大哥哥和小弟弟在打球。他是你的競爭對手，他就
  像是大哥哥一樣，因為他們擁有很多的榮銜和獎盃， 但和小弟弟比賽時卻不
  曾睡著。你知道這句格言的：小弟弟總是贏在最後。 如果你去看過去一個月
  的他們，他們可能是一支最棒的一支籃球隊， 他們已經走在一起他們所要走
  的路。我們知道這可能要花掉一些時間，因為那些新加入的成員，但是Gregg
  Popovich知道他在做什麼。在那裡，他們已經擊敗過我們一次了。

 "This is your rival," 

 "They're big brother because they got all the titles and trophies. 
  But never go to sleep on little brother. You know the saying, 
  little brother always wins in the end." 

 "If you watch them over the past month, they might be the best team
  in basketball the way they've come together," 

 "We knew it was going to take some time with those new pieces, but
  Pop knows what he's doing. They've already beaten us once down 
  there." 

  雖然還不知道他所說的格言最終結局會是如何，但JET正在好運。



5.蛋皮期待明天可以上場。因為左膝發炎，他已經連續錯過兩場比賽。

  他說他期待可以上場，但仍然要比賽當天才能決定。

 "I should be playing, hopefully,"

 "But it's still a game-day decision."




6.Dirk在明星賽西區前鋒票選仍然排名在第2，僅次於金塊的 Carmelo Anthony
  。Dirk目前落後742,129張票，領先Tim Duncan49,905張票。Kidd在西區後衛
  則是排名第6，而Marion則是排在西區前鋒的第8名。
