Playing their third game in four nights, the injury-plagued Dallas Mavericks
could use a trouble-free matchup. Facing the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves
could be exactly what the Southwest Division leaders need.

Dallas will try to win its 12th straight overall and eighth in a row at
Minnesota on Monday night, when the Timberwolves get one of their best
players back from suspension.

灰狼將是西南組龍頭小牛目前最渴望的。小牛將要挑戰12連勝以及在明尼蘇達的8連勝，

With the NBA's longest active win streak, the Mavericks (43-21) have built a
five-game division lead over San Antonio and are in close pursuit of the
Western Conference-leading Lakers.

Dallas, though, is trying to get healthy for the stretch run. Jason Terry,
one of the league's best off the bench with 16.4 points per game, had facial
surgery Friday and could be out another two weeks after getting elbowed in
the face by Minnesota's Corey Brewer in Wednesday's 112-109 home win.

小牛拉出了聯盟目前最長的連勝，在分組也領先了馬刺多達5場，在西區也緊追著湖人
不放，不過現在健康問題困擾著小牛，聯盟得分最多的第六人，平均每場能貢獻16.4分
的Jason Terry動了面部手術，可能還需要兩個禮拜才能回來，他是在上週面對灰狼的

The Mavericks could also be without both of their centers Monday in the final
meeting this season with the Timberwolves (14-49). Erick Dampier has been
sidelined the last 11 games with a dislocated right middle finger, while
Brendan Haywood missed the final three quarters of Friday's win over
Sacramento and a 122-116 victory at Chicago on Saturday with lower back
tightness.

在雙方本季的最終對決中，小牛的兩位中鋒都可能缺陣，Dampier因為右手中指脫臼連
續缺陣了11場，Haywood則是由於下背部僵硬缺陣了對國王的後三節與上役與公牛的交

"The biggest thing is for us to get healthy," Jason Kidd said Saturday after
handing out 15 assists and grabbing 11 rebounds. "We won short-handed
tonight, but that just shows how deep we are. Everybody is focused on one
thing and that's winning."

上一場傳出15次助攻與抓下11籃板的Kidd說:"對我們來說，健康是最重要的。我們今
天雖然人手短缺，但這也顯示了我們的深度，全體球員都只專注在贏球上面。"


Kidd, who sat out Wednesday with the Mavericks playing their 10th game in 16
days, will likely be in the starting lineup Monday when the Mavericks look to
extend their longest winning streak since a 17-game run Jan. 27-March 11,
2007.

Dallas has won seven straight at the Target Center since a 91-78 loss Jan. 4,
2006.

Kidd上禮拜對灰狼的比賽中休息未出賽，因為小牛最近的16天打了10場比賽，不過他
明天應該能順利出賽，希望繼續延續自07賽季之後最長的連勝紀錄。小牛上一次客場

In the teams' last meeting in Minneapolis, Dirk Nowitzki scored 20 points
with 11 rebounds and Dallas won 89-77 on Nov. 13, holding the Timberwolves to
a season-low 32.6 percent shooting.

Minnesota's leading scorer Al Jefferson missed that game following the death
of his grandmother and did not play in Wednesday's loss in Dallas, serving
the first of a two-game suspension for his arrest last Sunday on suspicion of
DWI.

上次小牛在客場碰上灰狼，Dirk拿下20分11籃板，帶領小牛以89-77獲勝，那場灰狼的
命中率是本季最低的32.6%，Al Jefferson則因為祖母過世而未出賽，並且在上週因為
酒駕而被罰禁賽兩場，再次缺陣對小牛的比賽。


Ryan Hollins has played well starting at forward the last two games -
averaging 14.5 points and 6.0 boards - but Timberwolves second-year forward
Kevin Love said the team could have benefited from having Jefferson in the
lineup Saturday, when Minnesota was outrebounded by nine in a 112-98 loss to
Houston.

With Jefferson expected to return, the Timberwolves will try to snap a
five-game home losing streak and go for just their second victory overall
since Feb. 6.

代替Al上場的Ryan Hollins前兩場作為先發大前鋒，平均拿下14.5分6籃板，不過替補
的二年級生Love則表示Al的歸隊將會對球隊有所助益，昨天灰狼的籃板比火箭的少抓了
9個，那場比賽是以98-112敗陣。Jefferson回歸讓灰狼希望能中止近來的主場五連敗，
更是希望能拿下自從2月6號以來的第2場勝利(慘...)。


Dallas will look to match a season high with its fifth straight road win.
Another strong effort from rookie guard Rodrigue Beaubois could help the
Mavericks achieve that. The 22-year-old from Guadeloupe has set or tied a
career high in scoring in each of the last three games.

"He's a talent,'' Kidd said after Beaubois scored 18 of his 24 in the third
quarter Saturday. "He's going to be a special player in this league."

Beaubois hit a season-high four 3s and scored 17 in a 117-108 loss to
Minnesota on Feb. 5 when the Timberwolves snapped a 13-game slide to the
Mavericks.

小牛則是希望能拿下平本季新高的客場五連勝，22歲的年輕後衛Beaubois如果能再有
強力演出將會對小牛很有幫助，他已經連續三場平或破了生涯得分的紀錄。Kidd說:"
他很有天賦，他將成為聯盟中特別的球員。"上一波霸在第三節就拿下全場24分中的18
分。上個月主場108-117負於灰狼的比賽中，波霸砍進了本季最多的4顆三分並拿下17
分，不過灰狼在那場比賽中止了對上小牛的13連敗。
