[新聞] USA Basketball roster won't include Jason Kidd

USA Basketball is filling out its national team for the World Championships,

and that team will not include Kidd.



At least not as a player.



"I'm out," he said. "What I plan on doing is working on the other side,

working with the coaching staff and hanging out with Coach K [Mike Krzyzewski].

That'll be my new role, I suppose. I'm out. They got plenty of young guys."



Kidd has been an anchor for the U.S. team, winning gold in Sydney in 2000 and

Beijing in 2008 and being an emotional leader on many national teams.



在今天的採訪中，Kidd表示自己將不會以球員的身份參加今年土耳其世錦賽。

Kidd說:我計畫的是致力於其他方面的工作，比如和教練團一起工作以及協助K教練，

我想這會是我的新角色。我已經退出了(國家隊球員)，國家隊現在有很多年輕的好手。



Jason Kidd曾多次代表美國國家隊參加奧運，在2000年和2008年他都幫助國家拿到了奧運

金牌。
