Shawn Marion said he's ready to give his strained left oblique a test run
tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Marion has missed the last three games because of the injury.
"I'm going to play,'' he said. "It feels fine right now, but you never know
until you get out there and see how it feels when you're getting hit and
moving around on the court.''
Marion is expected to return to his spot in the starting lineup after going
through the shootaround this morning with no problems.
The Mavericks, however, will be without Caron Butler tonight. The swingman
will not dress because of a right hip flexor strain, according to the
Mavericks.
Expect Rodrigue Beaubois to be back in the starting lineup.
