Mavericks guard Roddy Beaubois gets a chance to add some experience to his
resume this summer.
With Tony Parker unavailable, Beaubois has been added to the French national
team that will compete in the FIBA World Championship in Turkey, which will
be August 28 through September 12.
Among his teammates with NBA experience are Mickael Pietrus, Boris
Diaw and Joakim Noah. A roster can be found here.
Incidentally, France does not go up against the U.S. in the first round, but
Spain and Canada are guaranteed opponents. So maybe a Roddy B vs. Steve Nash
matchup could happen this summer after all.
