Dampier heading to the hospital
Accompanied by athletic trainer Casey Smith, Dampier went to St. Joseph's
Mercey Oakland Hospital in an ambulance.
No word yet on exactly what Dampier was suffering from. We'll pass it along
as soon as we know.

Dampier update
Athletic trainer Casey Smith has been in touch with the Mavericks and Erick
Dampier apparently is improving at the hospital.
Still unclear what sort of illness sent him to the hospital or if he'll go
with the team to Milwaukee after the Pistons' game.
