One thousand men and women in a statistically accurate reflection of Americans, age 18 and older nationwide, were surveyed by one of the most prestigious research firms in America, Yankelovich Partners, Inc., to determine their celebrity hairstyle preferences.
The biggest news of this year's results is the meteoric rise of two hot Latin celebrities, Grammy Award nominees Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin. Martin's blond-tipped close-cropped ``do'' ranked No. 1 among male singers and Jennifer Lopez' long, golden-streaked tresses placed her near the top in three key categories.
