Why does Meg Ryan constantly walk around NY without keys
to her apartment, or a handbag?
There are several scenes where her and Tom Hanks'
computers do not have any telephone wires attached to them.
There'a a scene where a woman co-worker is complaining
about all that's gone wrong, like her car breaking down
and she had to get a ride to work and "who knows how
I'll get home", but after some more conversation, when
offered a ride home (I think by someone who had either
walked or taken a taxi to work) she says "no, I have it
covered".
Tom Hanks' character is on the yacht, talking to his father
who has just left his latest wife. Tom is mixing up
martinis, he pours them, and he adds an olive to one,
and then an olive to the other. The camera cuts away
to his father and then cuts back and now the second
martini has no olive, so Tom adds an olive again.
Brinkley, Joe's male dog, is obviously a smaller female
dog, and she is played by two different dogs. One dog has
longer hair than the other. The two dogs keep switching
back and forth. The dog(s) never seem to respond to the
computer screen or any other directed area, they are firmly
focused on their trainer.
Tom hands the little girl a red ring to toss on the bottles
and you see a green one land (different color ring leaves
her hand and lands on the bottle).
When the two main characters are chatting online, Hanks's
character obviously sends his instant message by pushing
the enter button using only one finger; but in reality, he
would need two fingers beause to send a message, you have
to push control and enter simultaneously.
