those who are critical of baseball players...i mean those who criticize
hitters should have a different job or hobby. This is not only a hard "job"
but an impossible lifestyle! Players invest...they sacrifice because they
love the game 100%. I have so much respect for players who decide to quit
baseball. Because they see their limitations. However, I also respect those
who continue to play; because they have enough courage to continue and to
risk their life to compete, perform, achieve!!!!! jai-yo!

這段是說：

我想那些批評球員的人應該都有不一樣的習慣與職業吧。
而這個（指職棒）不只是個辛苦的「職業」！
每個球員投資、犧牲只是因為他們是100％的愛著棒球。
我對於那些決定離開棒球圈的人給予極高的敬意。
因為他們知道他們的極限在哪。
但是我也很尊敬那些繼續打棒球的人；
因為他們有足夠的勇氣繼續競爭、表現、達到目標！！
加油！！！（我覺得用risk their life 似乎有點誇張XD）

We ask players to do the unthinkable...leave the homes, support their
families, enjoy life without their kids. We rely on the team to pay the
players...use the player. Sometimes abuse the player so the that the team
will compete and the league survives. Players that become coaches become the
heart, the pulse of each game. We know the at bat, only because we lived,
failed and succeeded in that particular game situation. The fraternity of
baseball players is incredibly small...1200 Major League Baseball Player are
unionized each year in the U.S. Millions more simply enjoy baseball. So play
the game...enjoy baseball wherever you are! Suerte. Good luck. Omae ma
Gan-ba-te-yo! As much as baseball is a challenge, it is also a triumph!!!

我們要求球員做這些無法想像的事情（包括特攻嗎XD？(誤)）
過著離開家鄉、離開支持他的家庭、小孩的生活。
我們仰賴球團付球員薪水、並使用球員。
有時候會濫用球員使得球隊有競爭力也使聯盟得以延續。
而變成教練的球員就變成每一場比賽的心臟、脈博。
我們知道每個打席只因為我們經歷過，在那個場合失敗過或成功過。
棒球的世界是很小的…
在美國每年能在大聯盟打球的球員不過1200個人左右而已。
更多更多人不過就只是單純的享受棒球而已。
所以…就享受棒球吧！不論在哪裡都要享棒球！！

就如同棒球是個挑戰般，他同時也是個勝利！！
