hello all(elder and younger and others):
I can use chinese input, I didnt read all message of
the sad news, but I want to say something.
In Chile, I meet a french who is mountainner.
I do some trecks with him and talked about technical
climbing(rock climbing, ice climbing, sky
climbing...).
I also talked with him about the bad news in our club
and french's rescue system.
He is a very skilled mountainer, almost pass the
hiking guide exam in french.
My felling is :
We are really like a child in almost whole
mountainnerring, includes ability in every mountainner
sport, social attitude about mountainnerring, rescue
system, guide system, grade system of hardness...
They developed all thing of mountainnerring sport
about hundred years ago include routes and all system.
It is reasonable that we are not as good as them, but
we have to learn quickly, we dont have to died so much
people for imporving experience...
But, but in some places we are already done well,
especially in hiking without snow, our ability in
orientation, walking in all kinds steepness... are
good enough.
I hope the members in my club have confidence, also
have ability to see what we are not good enough.
We dont have the ability to judge correctly under high
height, as we dont have the ability in all kinds snow
conditions.
There are many ability we are lack.
We also have no ability in rescue, but the
responsibility is not just ntu_mtclub's, the
government seems should tack the responsibility more.
My french friend told me that in Alps, any rescue they
will arrive in 4 hours.He really meaned 4 hours in all
the Alps in Frence.
I am sad there is a friend died...
But I am shit that we dont have good public rescue
system.
And I am sad we have a socity and medium they dont
know mountainnerring.
To the members in my club, take the responsibility you
should, and be confidant that some places you are
right.
To the realitive of my died friend, I am sorry ....
