來欣賞其他球迷怎麼寫這場球吧: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- slong@1st.net slong I am really happy for the victory it energizes this NG. The Celtics looked impressive against a mediocre team with very little interior offense that had played the night before. This is key because back to back games are what separate the men from the boys in the NBA. It's great we won but would we have if they were not tired from the night before? This team mirrors ourselves a lot in terms of style of play, primarily a perimeter team with the edge in rebounding going to Detroit and the bench and offensive edge going to the Celtics. I loved the fact that we ran them down literally. Flashes of the old Celtic fast break were visible and with Pierce coming back it seems that leprechaun has finally returned. Antione shot well, took 6 threes, but made half of them. I got no problem with that because he took of business on the glass and acted mature. Great game for the beleaguered one but can he maintain this level of play? I 've got my fingers crossed as do many others. Pierce played well and gave a great speech before the game. His FG percentage was a tad low but he got fouled on about five of those attempts as the FT stat line indicates and judging from my memory. I think he has recovered for the most part. I didn't buy it Cousy says he was not aggressive because he was fading away. I thought he attacked the basket with his drives. Attacking the basket really helped us as FT accounted for a nearly 16 point differential between the teams. Battie should always start, he proved it last night. He has earned it but this must be remembered that this team was not a team of redwoods we were playing against. Vitaly was totally ineffective, one of his rebounds he took out of Moiso's hands. The guy should have done well against a team we actually have a size advantage on but he sucked big time. I noticed that every time Detroit made a run, Vitaly was at the helm at the center position. He has a good jump shot but his defensive skills are poor, he can't block shots and he can't rebound. If we can get a bag of flour out of him in a trade, we should take it. This pattern has persisted for quite some time now and I'd have to be smoking his namesake to think this guy was nothing more than a stop game measure in the low post. He's not improved in any way except his jump shot and one glaring weakness the guy can't move his feet. This means fouls on defense and no rebounds as he can't chase the ball all that strength is wasted. Bill Russell has to be going nuts seeing the Celtics center reduced to Pot. Blount and Battie are the way to go as they are more mobile and have decent upside and can provide interior presence. Blount defends the basket pretty well. Moiso is a great athlete but a project and it is obvious that he could have used another couple of years of school. He looked 2-3 years away last night but other nights he shows promise. He'll take time and I don't think he be tearing up the league like some others in the NG by January, maybe January 2002. I hope I am wrong but signs are pointing that he is a dreaded potential dude. Stith was tough and Adrain Griffin was tough. Stith gave us some real scoring punch and veteran savvy of the bench. Griffin was Mr. Intangible and showed that huge Celtic heart doing the little things that no one else does. Anderson played well but shot poorly. He got the team moving up and down the court and even though he shot poorly he set a good tempo for the team. Brown also will help us in the long run if he stays healthy. Veteran leadership and stifling D the pick ups of Stith and Brown has really helped us. My hat is off to Rick and Wallace as these acquisitions are helping a lot. Carr could be trade bait. Hopefully packaged with Vitaly for someone who can play their position. I know desperation has set in for us but look at the big picture. This guy is not the answer unless the WWF starts a modified basketball league that has a one shot per possession with a no rebounding clause. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (呃,應該不會有球迷會為了著作權問題從美國追來台灣吧?) -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.twbbs.org) ◆ From: 211.75.136.185
