On the air on Tuesday, Marc Stein was asked what the chances are that LeBron

James will sign an extension with the Cavs this off-season, removing himself

from the free-agent class next summer.


星期二Marc Stein在節目中被問到對於小皇帝今夏是否會與騎士續約有什麼看法。


"Zero, there is zero chance he does the extension this summer," Stein

responded.


"他會續約? 除非你老爸變成了兔子。"


Stein said that James would lose all leverage to put pressure on the Cavs to

keep improving the roster if he were to re-sign now.


他表示一旦續約小皇帝就失去了讓騎士持續強化禁衛軍的把柄了。


Stein also said that the Cavs front office is wary of talking about the subject

publicly, knowing that the team had to make the offer to James but that it

would not be accepted.


騎士隊高層對於這件事的公開評論也顯得小心翼翼，雖然提出一份一定會被拒絕的合約就

如啞巴吃黃蓮般有苦難言。


Pressed again, Stein was asked if it was a foregone conclusion that James will

in fact test free-agency in 2010.


Stein也再度被詢問了有關小皇帝2010年將投身自由市場一事是否已成了既定的事實。


"It's a safe bet, as bold as that sounds," Stein said.


"他不離開的或然率低過零啊。"
