The referees call time-out when a player has blood is because it is
AGAINST the rule to play with blood.  Because of AIDS.

it is to protect "OTHER" players.

If it is a NORMAL injury without blood (so it won't risk other players)
 the team always call the time-out, or they foul
intentionally to stop the game to make subsitution.

The referee will not stop the game just because someone is lying on the floor
(maybe he is just tired? or just lazy? or really hurt?)

The spurs have 3-4 coaches and assistant coaches in the game, and the trainer
can also go check on Malik Rose.  There is NO EXECUSE not to call time-out,
or at least FOUL when the Mavs were on offense.

Both plays after Rose went down were NOT really fast breaks.  Parker
made his shot and they have more than enough time to foul.  Not only
Nowitzski but other Mavs players.

They didn't want to foul because they were OVER the foul limit and in
Penalty situation.

Stop blaming on the referees.  It was an accident and we hope that Rose can
heal fast and return in next game.
