Celtics forward Al Jefferson may not take part in Tuesday's practice as
originally planned. The Boston Globe reported that Jefferson's sprained right
ankle felt sore after workouts on Saturday and Sunday and that coach Doc
Rivers would rather Jefferson take his time and miss Wednesday's game at New
York since the squad has two days off following that game. "I just think it's
probably smarter where he gets five more days where he just misses one game,"
Rivers said.
