Sam Cassell, unable to play through the pain of his heel injury, has decided
to take an extended break to allow his heel to heal. He's listed as
day-to-day, but Cassell doesn't expect to be back anytime soon. In the
meantime, Daniel Ewing is getting significant minutes as Shaun Livingston's
backup.
