Boston的Peter May老大的Mock Draft: 1. Yao Ming, C, China. If he is allowed out of the motherland, he has to be the top pick. Everyone who has seen him raves about him. There will be the attendant cultural and political problems, but on basketball talent alone, this guy literally (7 feet 5 inches) stands alone. 2. Jason Williams, G, Duke. He says he's staying, but no one believes him. How can he stay, given where he's likely to go? Clearly the best point guard. 3. Chris Marcus, C, Western Kentucky. He's your classic late bloomer. He came to the game late, meaning he doesn't have a lot of the bad habits of his peers. The same individual who coached David Robinson at Navy is also coaching him. Still raw, but player personnel people love his upside. 4. Jason Richardson, G, Michigan State. He's only a sophomore, but he's got the size and athleticism that makes pro scouts drool. He also is said to have an excellent work ethic. 5. Kwame Brown, F, Brunswick, Ga. The consensus No. 1 high schooler at this point. He's committed to Florida, but most people think he's NBA-bound. A big bruiser. 6. DeSagana Diop, C, Oak Hill Academy. He may drop a little because of a foot injury, but he's huge (7-1, 300 pounds) and talented. 7. Tyson Chandler, C-F, Compton, Calif. He has been called everything from the next Kareem to the next Richard Washington. He may slide a little as well, but again, he has that much-coveted athleticism. 8. Eddie Griffin, F, Seton Hall. Last year, he would have been a lottery pick had he come out of high school. His stock may drop because he had a controversial and disappointing freshman season. Scouts feel he's a lock to come out. 9. Dajuan Wagner, Camden High School. He got a lot of notoriety for his 100-point game, and a decision to turn pro would throw a wrench into John Calipari's rebuilding at Memphis. He also could skyrocket over the next few weeks depending how he does in the all-star practices. 10. Frank Williams, G, Illinois. He will be the second point guard drafted, and if the Illini play well in the tournament, he should get some serious face time over the next three weeks. 11. Eddy Curry, C, Thornwood, Ill. He's called Baby Shaq because of his size, which isn't necessarily a compliment. However, he has taken up with Michael Jordan's fitness guru, another indication he's coming out. Committed to DePaul. 12. Joseph Forte, G, North Carolina. He will likely be the first Tar Heel to go, although teammate Brendan Haywood will also get chosen and not much later. Leading scorer for North Carolina. 13. Troy Murphy, F, Notre Dame. Is he the next Raef LaFrentz? He's a lefthander who plays around the basket. 14. Battier, F, Duke: You heard his name as a possible high schooler - and that was four long years ago. He's a solid Dukie, accustomed to the limelight, and will be a welcome addition to any NBA roster. 15. Rodney White, F, NC-Charlotte. The best player in that program since Cedric Maxwell. He has a pro body already (Gary Trentish) and oodles of talent. He could also rise. Others to look for in the top 15: Haywood, C, North Carolina; Kareem Rush, F, Missouri; Zach Randolph, F, Michigan State; Joe Johnson, F, Arkansas. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.twbbs.org) ◆ From: 150.c210-58-207.ethome.net.tw
