falsificationist respond to the Quine-Duhem problem?
Why? Provide an example to support your evaluation.
2. (1) What is Kuhn’s view about the structure of
scientific revolution? Do you agree with it? Why? (2)
How do scientific theories change? Compare Kuhn’s
account of scientific revolution with Popper’s
falsificationism regarding theory change. Which one is
more plausible? Give an example to support your position.
3. (1) What is scientific realism? (2) Explain the
No-Miracle Argument and inference to the best
explanation. How do they support scientific realism? (3)
Are they successful? (4) Compare scientific realism with
constructive empiricism: which theory is more plausible?
Give an example to support your view.
