6. (15分) 假設某專門生產電腦排線的電子加工廠，其所需的生產要素包括負責切割的機
器設備(K)與專司組裝勞工(L)，其生產函數如下：Q = √L*√K，如果該機設設備每組
為27萬元，組裝工人薪資為3萬元，且訂單數量為30單位，試問：
(1) 短期下如果該電子加工廠的機械設備為4台，則該工廠的勞動雇用量為何？其生產
成本為何？
(2) 長期下，該電子加工廠廠長決定調整機器設備的數量，以利於降低生產成本，請問
該廠長會購置多少機械設備與雇用多少勞工？其生產成本為何？
(3) 比較(1)與(2)生產成本的大小，試說明短期生產成本與長期生產成本的關係。
7. (6分) The market demand for a type of carpet known as KP-7 has been
estimated as : P = 40 - 0.25Q , where P is price ($/yard) and Q is quantity
of sales (hundreds of yards per month). The market supply is expressed as :
P = 5 + 0.05Q , A typical firm in this competitive market has a total cost
function given as : C = 100 - 20q + 2*q^2 , where q is the quantity of sales
for this firm,
(1) Determine the output for a typical firm, which can maximize firm's
profit.
(2) Determine the profit (or loss) earned by the typical firm by producing
the above output.
