6. a) Reorganize the order of the following chemical reactions, show how
tropospheric ozone is formed from the reaction of NO2 and sunlight. How
many hydroxyl radicals are formed from one NO2 molecule? (5pt.)
b) Which of the following HCs would react faster with hydroxyl radicals?
Why? (5pt.)

c) List criteria air pollutants regulated by Taiwan EPA. List three
methods you can use to measure these criteria air pollutants. (5pt.)
7. Water with an alkalinity of 2.5mM has a pH of 10. Calculate [CO2], [HCO3^-]
[CO3^2-] and [OH^-] in such water? (10pt.)
8. Determine pE for waste water that contains 5.0 x 10^-5 M H3AsO4 and
5.0 x 10^-7 M H3AsO3. Does this wastewater favor oxidation or reduction?
