Find the global maximum of the function
y(x1,x2)=[5(x1-3)^2]-[12(x2+5)^2] + [6x1x2]
in the region 0 <= x1 <=10 , 0 <= x2 <= 5
3.
Determine the maximum of the following function using
golden section search on the initial interval shown:
y = 12x-2x^2 on 0 <= x <=10
Conduct the search untl the difference
between the two largest values of y is 0.2 or less.
