試題 :
1. A woman whose weight is 530 N is pose at the diving board with a length of
3.90 m. The board has negligible weight and is bolted down at the left end,
while being support by 1.40 m away by a fulcrum. Find the force F1 and F2
that the bolt and fulcrum, respectivelt, exert on the board.
2. A solid cylinder (mass = Ms, radius = Rs) start from rest at the top
(height = H0, relative to an arbitrarily chosen zero level that passes
through the center of mass of the cylinder when it is at the bottom of the
incline) of an incline. Ignoring the energy loss due to the retarding
force, determine the translation speed of the cylinder upon reaching the
bottom.
3. The diaphragm of a loudspeaker moves back and forth in simple harmonic
motion to creat sound. The frequency of the motion is f = 1.0 kHz and
amplitude is 0.20 mm. What is the maximum (a) speed and (b) acceleration
of the diaphragm?
4. A 0.30-kg ball is attached to a vertical spring. The spring constant of the
springis 30 N/m. the ball, supported initially so that the spring is neither
stretched nor compresssed, is released from rest. In absence of air
resistance, how far does the ball fall before being brought to a momentary
stop by the spring?
5. A gold ring has an inner diameter of 2.0 *10^(-2) m at 27℃. What is the
change in its inner diameter when it fall into a sink of hot water whose
temperature is 60 ℃? ( σAu = 14*10^(-6) 1/℃ )
6. A wood-burning stove stands unused in a room where the temperature is 17℃.
A fire is started inside the stove. Eventually, the tempurature of the
stove surface reaches a constant 187℃, and the room warms to 30℃. The
soive has an emissivity of 0.900 and surface area of 3.5m^2. Determine
the net radiant power generated by the stove when it has a temperature of
187℃.
7. Two cylindrical rods have the same mass. One is made of silver
(density = 10500 kg/m^3), and the other is made of iron (density = 7860
kg/m^3). Both rods conduct the same amount of heat per second when the
same temperature difference is maintained across their ends. What is the
ratio (silver-to iron) of (a) tje lengths and (b) the radio of these rods?
8. Two ideal gases have the same mass density and the same absoult pressure.
One of the gases is helium(He), and its temperature is 175 K. The other
gas is neon(Ne). What is the temperature of the neon?
9. The temperature of one mole of monotonic ideal gas is reduced from
Ti = 540K. to Tf = 300K by flowing 2000J into the gas. Find (a) the change
in the internal energy and (b) the work done by the gas.
10. Two moles of Ar gas expand isothermally from Vi= 0.025m^3 to Vf= 0.050M^3
at 298K. Assuming that Ar is an ideal gas, find (a) the work done by the
gas and (b) the heat supplied to the gas.
