ctory the shell explodes into two fragments of mass m1 and m2. The explosion p

he horizontal direction. Find the separation of the two fragments when they hi
t the ground.
2.Threeidentical stars of mass M are located at the vertices of an equilatera
l triangle with side L. At what speed must they move if they all revolve unde
r the influnce of one another's gravitational force in a circular orbit circum
scribing the triangle while preserving the equilateral triangle?
3.Two 25kg ice sleds are placed a short distance apart, one directly behind th
e other. A 4kg dog, standing on one sled , jumps are made at a speed 5m/s rela
tive to the ice . find the final speeds of the two sleds.
4.A horizontal platform in the shape of a circular disk rotates on a frictionl
ess bearing about a vertical axle through the center of the disk. The platform
has a mass of 150kg, a radius of 2.0m , and a rotational inertia of 300kg‧
