1. Please write down the Newton's Three laws of Motion.
2. A particle has a circular motion with constant speed. What is the work
done by the force exerted on the particle? Why?
3. Please describe the experiment of the photoelectric effect, and explain
why the photoelectric effect is an example for the light "treated" as
particle. Note that in the classical physics the light is "treated" as
"electromagnetic wave."
4. What is "matter wave" in modern physics? What is its relation to momentum
(p)? Please give an example of experiment for the electron, in which it
behaves itself as wave.
5. Please describe the "time dilation" in the special relativity. If possible,
try to derive or explain the result as complete as you can.
6. How does quantum mechanics describe "a particla" with wave function(if
possible, try to write down the Schrodinger Equation)? What is the
essential difference from that in classical mechanics.
7. Please describe the diffrence in "causality" between quantum and classical
mechanics.
8. Please try to distinguish the concepts "objective", "ration", "science". Do
you regard "physics" as an "objective" knowledge system? Please give your
argument using your definition above?
