'There are, your Majesty,two things whereby this world is chiefly
governed ,the sacred authority of bishops and the imperial power. Of
them,the burden of the priests is the greater,in that they must render
account in the divine judgment for the kings of men also:for you know,
most clement son, that though you preside over the human race in dignity
,you submit your neck humbly to the leaders of things divine and seek
