underdetermination argument? If the argument sustains, what would be the
consequence with regard to the debate between scientific realism and

6. What is inference to the best explanation (IBE)? How does IBE provide
defenses for scientific realism (the local and the gobal defense) ? According
to your evaluation, are they successful?
